The Great Commission/nJesus did not say that he would give to everyone according to what he has believed, but according to what he has done. True saving faith in Jesus Christ will result in obedience to his commands. And his final command before he left for heaven was for us to preach the gospel to all creation and to make disciples of all nations. When he returns, he will demand and expect from us his share of the crop---the fruit of the harvest. This will in part determine our eternal reward from him./nMark 16:15 He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.
