Description:
April 27th, we are thinning nectarine and Peach trees. Although it appears much fruit is wasted, the fruit that remains on the trees will mature to much larger size and be far more sweet. The size of the tree and the variety of fruit will determine the amount of fruit that will be left on the tree. /nWe planted these ground covers to attract beneficial insects that fight pests. These ground covers attracted insects such as lady bugs. Lady bug larva, lady bugs, and the larva of the laced wing bug will eat up any mite they find. /nHanging pheromone ties confuse moths by putting out the same scent the
female moths put out. The moths can then never find each other and live their
full lives all alone.
