Oats are the first field crop planted each spring at Kline Creek Farm. This video shows oats being broadcast with an end-gate seeder attached to one of the Farm's box wagons. The seeder is powered by a chain connected to one wheel of the wagon. After the oats are sown they are disked into the soil.
